A sunny Easter Sunday morning

Yesterday was a good day. We spent most of the day outside, doing some garden-work and later having a barbecue in the sunshine. The first barbecue of this year. The first day when you didn't freeze in a T-shirt. The first butterfly I saw this year. The real Estonian spring. We went to the river and waited as our dog was having a nice swim, she was happyhappyhappy about that. Then we spent some time at our neighbours', chatting. I hope this summer will be a good one, safe and relaxed, and I can always cross the road to visit people I've known all my life or all their lives. I'm so glad they're back, at least for the summers. My holidays start in less than two months' time and I can't wait, even if that means having to mow the lawn constantly.

Sõin just õhtusöögiks müslit piimaga, ühe banaani, hunniku viinamarju ja valget šokolaadi. Nüüd mul sellest kompotist süda kergelt läigib. Peaks ühe pirni tasakaalustamise mõttes peale sööma.

I want to yell at all the clerks and lawyers who make things as complicated as possible. Why take into account the agreements we've already made when it's possible to start from zero again?!? ARRGGGHHHHRGGHH

Pick your five favourite TV shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions about them. Don’t cheat!

1. The Vampire Diaries

2. Supernatural

3. Merlin

4. Castle

5. Torchwood

Who is your favourite character in 2?

Dean :)

Who is your least favourite character in 1?

Vicky. Was. Now I'm not a very big fan of John Gilbert.

What’s your favourite episode of 4?

The one where Beckett and Castle are in the freezer and Beckett, before passing out, almost says she loves him. I don't know any episode names of any of the shows I watch.

What is your favourite season on 5?

First, I guess.

What’s your favourite ship in 3?

The friendship of Merlin and Arthur

Who is your favourite ship in 2?

Dean and Sam? It's not a real ship, there aren't any real ships, are there? I just love how they look after each other.

How long have you watched 1?

Since it started in 2009.

How did you become interested in 3?

Saw some pictures of Arthur and Merlin on LJ. Then I watched some of Colin and Bradley's behind the scenes videos and was hooked straight away.

Who is your favourite actor in 4?

Stana Katic, she's brilliant.

Which show do you prefer out of 1, 2, or 5?

I can’t choose between The Vampire Diaries and Supernatural! Maybe SPN because of the dialogue and TVD because of Damon. Ok, out of loyalty, SPN, because I have watched every episode of every season and it's the 6th season already. TVD is only in the middle of its second season so far. Though it feels longer as I started watching it almost as soon as it came out.

Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3?

Merlin as it's been on longer, but I've watched every episode of both.

If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?

Beckett. She's amazing.

How would you kill off your favourite character in 1?

Kill Damon?!? Noooo, too tragic. If I really had to, then when saving Elena or something.

Give a random quote from 1.

I don't think I know any really noteworthy quotes from TVD. If I knew, it would be something from Damon :p I know a lot from SPN, though.

Would a 3/4 crossover work?

Ehmm, no, probably not.

Has 5 inspired you in any way?

Not really. It has made me want to go to Cardiff, does that count?

Overall, which show has a better cast, 3 or 5?

Merlin. Definitely. Even though I really loved Eve Myles and John Barrowman.

Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?

Supernatural, without a doubt. Classic rock rules. It has influenced my taste in music a lot. More than any other series I've ever watched.
I got so many things done yesterday. Cleaned the whole flat, did a bit of laundry, had a nicely relaxed long lunch with friends at a fancy restaurant and then marked all the tests there were to mark. ALL of them. Then I also watched the latest episode of The Vampire Diaries and read quite a lot. Today I have the feeling I won't get much done. Luckily the sun has come out.

On the BRIGHTER side of life - I might not have chocolate allergy. I might have cacao allergy instead. Which might, at least in my head, mean that I can still eat white chocolate but I can't eat anything that has cacao in it. And there's cacao in a lot of things...

Reedene dialoog.

"Mul on vahvam allergia kui sul!"
"Ei ole!"
"On jah. Mul lähevad silmad paiste!"
"Ehh, mmm, aga ma ei näe enam väikest kirja lugeda!"
"Haaaa, see on va-na-dus mitte allergia!"

Have I expressed my love of Supernatural? The correct answer is, "Not recently."

SPOILER ALERT!!!

The most recent episode was just was hmm the dialogue was just superb. I laughed out loud, it had like really really good jokes. That sounded especially lame, didn't it?

The episode is called My Heart Will Go On. Yes, THAT My Heart Will Go On.

Ellen: The families all came over to America the same year. 1912. But here's the real weird part. They all came over on the same boat.
Dean: Really?
Ellen: Yep.
Dean: So what's so special about the boat?
Ellen: Nothing, it was a boat. It did what boats do.
Dean: What was it called?
Ellen: The Titanic. Ever hear it?
Dean: No.
Ellen: Yeah, me neither. I'll keep digging.
***
Sam: This first mate. Mr. I.P. Freely.
Dean: That's not suspicious. Got a picture of old Freely?
***
Dean: Why did you unsink the ship?
Balthazar: Oh, because I hated the movie.
Dean: What movie?
Balthasar: Exactly.
***
Sam: You saved a cruise liner...
Balthazar: ...because that godawful Celine Dion song made me want to smite myself.
Sam: Who's Celine Dion?
Balthazar: She's a destitute lounge singer somewhere in Quebec. And let's keep it that way, please.
***
Sam: You totally butterfly effected history.
Dean: Dude, dude, rule one, no Kutcher references.
Balthazar: Ah, yes, unfortunately, there's still Ashton Kutcher.
***
Balthasar: Sorry, you have me confused with the other angel. You know the one in the dirty trenchcoat who's in love with you. I don't care.
***
Dean: What'd she look like?
Sam: she kinda looked like a librarian.
Dean: Your kind of librarian or my kind of librarian?
Sam: She was wearing clothes, if that's what you mean.
***
Castiel: We'll make it easy for her. I think you have an expression for it - tempting fate.

The tempting fate part was hilarious.

Sam: I just had the weirdest dream.
Dean: Twenty bucks says mine was weirder. I'm not kidding.
Sam: No, no, I'm not kidding either. I mean it was it was bizarre.
Dean: I had the actual Titanic in it. ... What? ... Is something on my face?
Sam: Did it did it err not sink? Because Balthazar...
Dean: And I had a hate-on for Billy Zane. Why are you having my dreams, dude?
***
Dean: Did did Balthazar really unravel a sweater over a chick-flick?
Castiel: Yes. Absolutely, that's what he did.
Dean: Wow, it might be time to take away his cable priveleges. Besides, Titanic didn't suck that bad. Winslet's rack?

What else? Ellen was alive and married to Bobby. How cute is that? And Jo was alive as well even though we didn't actually see Alona Tal on screen. The boys weren't driving the Impala but a Mustang. It was soooo weird. I love the Impala. It's the prettiest car there is, honestly.

From Superwiki:
Dean drives a Mustang which has the original plates the Impala had - KAZ 2Y5 - until 2.20 What Is and What Should Never Be. A 65 Mustang was Kripke's original casting choice for the role of Dean's car: "When I was originally writing the show I wanted to give the guys an American muscle car. My first choice was a '65 Mustang. My neighbor said it has to be a '67 Impala, because you can put a body in the trunk. He says, 'You want a car that, when people stop next to it at the lights, they lock their doors.' "

Virumaa Varjupaik, kust Milli võtsin, peab alates 1. maist oma uksed sulgema. Sellega seoses otsitakse kiiresti uut kodu ligi sajale kassile-koerale.

Elagu mina!

ROFL I mean, srsly!?! YOU have to watch this ;)

Saturday, 2 April 2011

Ärkan mina täna hommikul üles ja üllatus üllatus, vaatan, mu silmaalused paistes. Mitte turses vaid konkreetselt paistes.

April Fool's

My usual question - where did the month of xxx go? Where did March go?!? I demand an answer.

This week has been pure hell, to put it very bluntly. Back at work after the spring break and after putting our clocks forward. I've been at work for nightmarishly long hours. And then, well, I've been at work. Some more. A bit.

I've also been trying to figure out how to get my laptop's recharger fixed. Now it's working again but it seems that not for long. I'm sick and tired of it.

What I'm even more sick and tired of is dreaming about sort-of-real-life at nights, but not real life per se but the worst scenarios of that-said-real-lifish situations. And remembering all the nightmares. It's not fair!

The retraining thingie on Wednesday was pointlessness squared. Honestly - hitting the wall with a fly swat?!? For exam preparation? You gotta be kidding me. Apparently he wasn't. Geee. And he was so gay! I wasn't the one to voice my impression by the way. His dear wife and everything. I mean, a retraining session where you hear about the lecturer's wife and see a lot of neon-coloured fly swats? Not my cup of tea. He treated us as if we were half-witted children.

Sometimes I really want to hit everyone who approaches me with the sentence that includes words "work" and "next year" and "why". I don't want to talk about it, not until I have signed and I don't want to explain myself and I just don't want to think about it at all. Which I'm obviously doing. Denial.

The other personal favourite of mine is the question "Can you feel the nervousness and anxiety in the air?" Oh yesss, I can, do you have to remind me of that on an hourly basis?!?!

And does everyone have to blabber on about what they've heard about him? I CAN'T form an opinion of him based on my gut instinct this way! And I need to do that to put my mind at ease. Please, just gossip somewhere else. Pretty please.

And no, I don't want to discuss who was crying and when and why. It makes me feel almost guilty that I haven't cried at all over the matter. Why? Because I don't have time. I guess. Or because I'm slightly numb. Emotional overload.

What I do feel passionate about, is the person who's responsible for all this shit. So passionate that I refuse to write about him.

I know things sound really bad and depressing but they aren't. I can assure you. I don't have much energy left right now and I have to be at work tomorrow morning, again (yup, it's Saturday), but otherwise life's good.

Those two seconds on Wednesday evening really made my week. The utter surprise in her face was totally priceless :D :p Yes, it was so worth it.
