See oli hirmus mõttetu kontsert. Ausõna. Ainuke laul, millele ma osaksin kaasa laulda oli Brainstormi My Star. Ära küsi, kuidas see meie vabadusega seotud on?
Renars :)

Update
I actually managed to read through The Vampire Diaries. Return: Midnight. It was honestly one of the worst books I had ever read but since I had read all the other six parts, I just had to get through with the seventh (last?) one as well. But it was baaad. That writer just can't write. I was constantly perplexed and confused. Some things were explained over and over again and some things were only mentioned even though they were even more important than these things that were explained over and over again. The plot was unbelievable, the characters were shallow and unbelievable as well and all they could do was change their minds about how they felt and faint or almost faint all the freaking time. Dear god have mercy.
I also finished with the first and so far only season of Game of Thrones and liked it a lot. I'm going to start reading the book tomorrow on the train. The second season is still far away, to be aired somewhere in 2012.

Mu lemmikasi spas - doktorkalad jalgade kallal :)
Mõned asjad, mida kõrva taha panna;
* edasi saab kiiremini, kui ei sõida kanuuga ühest jõe kaldast teise vaid otse edasi piki jõge;
* edasi saab kiiremini, kui kanuu õigel ajal veest välja tõsta ja mööda maad madalast kohast üle viia (mitte mööda ülimadalat jõge kahlata ja kanuud enda järel vedada);
* edasi saab kiiremini, kui aeruga sünkroonis vett udjada mitte igaüks erineval ajal;
* edasi saab kiiremini, kui aeru vette pannes oma näpud kanuu servast piisavalt kaugel hoida, nii et need ei jää igal tõmbel kanuu ja aeru vahele;
* on väiksem võimalus ninapidi kaldasse sõita, kui laulda mõnda head rahulikku ja mitte väga hoogsat laulu;
* on ohutum, kui ka kanuus kinnitada turvavöö, see ei lase ninapidi kaldasse sõites aeruga udjajat hooga pingilt kanuu põhja pudeneda;
* kisamine ja kiljumine ei aita kanuud pöörata, ei õiges ega vales suunas;
* kui tahad vahepeal tööluusi teha, ära istu kanuu ninasse, seal on täpselt näha, kui palju sa aeruga udjad;
* on soovitatav ostetud veepudel kodust külmkapi pealt kaasa võtta;
* on soovitatav võtta kaasa isik, kes aeruga udjamise asemel tõesti kanuud ka edasi tõmbab;
* on soovitatav vahepeal lihtsalt naerust kõveras olla, sest olukord on ju (eriti ülevalt vaadates) halekoomiline - kolm inimest paadis, kolmest aerust ja seljakotist rääkimata, sõidavad sihikindlalt ja järelejätmatult ühest kaldast teise;
* õige tunde saamiseks tuleb pärast võidukat maabumist teha pilt, kus peal on ka kohalik päss ja kohustuslik Totally Random Dude (kes tahab väga pilti näha, avaldagu soovi kommentaarides).

The X-Files references in SPN episodes aka that's why I love the show so much (and the fans who can pick up all the references)
Pilot
Dean introduced himself and Sam to a group of FBI agents as Agents Mulder and Scully.1.15 The Benders
This episode has similar themes to the The X-Files episode "Home," which features a secluded family that has a long tradition of inbreeding and violence toward anyone who comes close to its members. Both episodes play on the same themes: a strong (and perverted) sense of family and a vision of horror that isn't brought by demons or creatures, but humans. Home is often said to be the scariest and most disturbing X-Files episode. X-Files alumni John Shiban wrote The Benders. Kim Manners directed Home.2.07 The Usual Suspects
Dean calls Sam 'Scully,' to which he replies:Sam: I'm not Scully, you're Scully.
Dean: No, I'm Mulder. You're a red-headed woman.
2.15 Tall Tales
The cinematography in the scenes depicting the alien abduction of the frat boy are highly reminiscent of The X-Files. John Shiban, the writer of this episode, also wrote for The X-Files.3.11 Mystery Spot
Dean said "Sounds pretty X-Files to me." Coincidentally the episode was directed by Kim Manners who also directed the The X-Files's time loop episode, "Monday."4.01 Lazarus Rising
The devastation around Dean’s grave is reminiscent of the Tunguska Event, thought to be caused by a meteorite in Siberia in 1908. It has been widely referenced in literature and TV, including an episode of The X-Files.4.08 Wishful Thinking
-
- Dean: Or it's a Bigfoot. You know, and he's some kind of alcoholo-porno addict. Kind of like a deep- woods Duchovny.
4.11 Family Remains
In an interview with SciFi magazine, Kripke said "You know we want to make an episode like the X-Files' "Home'. Let's make an episode that the network will air once and then people will complain so much they'll never air it again." The episode didn't quite achieve that – murderous incestuous siblings just don't have the shock value they used to.The role of the housekeeper in this episode, Mrs Curry, was played by Karin Konoval who also played the mother of the incestuous family in that X-Files episode.
4.19 Jump The Shark
There was an X-Files episode called Jump the Shark - the 15th episode of the last season. The title of these episodes is a reference to the colloquialism, "jumping the shark", refers to the point at which a show resorts to dramatic plot changes, novelty casting or similar devices in a desperate attempt to reinvigorate the show, while ironically signaling that the show has probably passed its use-by-date. The term comes from an episode of "Happy Days" in which The Fonz actually jumped over a tank of sharks on waterskis.In a TV Guide interview Eric Kripke said of the episode title:
- "When we were breaking the story about the third Winchester brother, we knew the fans would scream that we had jumped the shark. Of course, adding a new sibling or relative to an established series is a classic and cherished shark jump, Cousin Oliver being the patron saint of the practice. Anyway, it became clear that we should beat the fans to the punch and title the episode, 'Jump the Shark.' Though rejected titles included: 'When Leo Joined Growing Pains,' or 'The Raven Symone Episode.'
- "For fans who are worried that we are truly jumping the shark... watch the episode, decide for yourself. Personally, I don't think we're gassing up the motorcycle quite yet, but you tell me. And stay tuned for next season, when the boys take trips to London and Hawaii (haunted Tiki dolls!) and Sam and Ruby get married. And Ted McGinley joins the cast as the thoughtful (but hot!) college professor."
5.02 Good God Y'All
-
- Guy: So, uh, you think that all this comes from outer space?
- Dean: This isn't "X-Files," pal.
5.11 Sam, Interrupted
-
- Psychiatric patient: Yeah, and it was an alien, like on X-Files.
6.09 Clap Your Hands If You Believe
Besides the opening montage and the theme of aliens, other possible X-Files references include:- Dean's exclamation "Fight The Fairies" is reminiscent of the first X-Files feature film, the X-Files: Fight the Future.
- Sam spilled salt, and the Leprechaun started to count each grain. In the X-Files season 5 episode 5X12 "Bad Blood", Mulder spilled sunflower seeds to stop the vampire - in this episode, vampires must stoop to count each grain.
- The cornfield chase is similar to that in The X-Files: Fight the Future, which is an homage to North by Northwest.

Eat chocolate and keep calm.
- Professor McGonagall: Is it true that you shouted at Professor Umbridge?
- Harry Potter: Yes.
- Professor McGonagall: You called her a liar?
- Harry Potter: Yes.
- Professor McGonagall: You told her He Who Must Not Be Named is back?
- Harry Potter: Yes.
- Professor McGonagall: Have a biscuit, Potter.

Switzerland and Germany June 22 - August 1 2011.
I'm back from the trip. Happy and relaxed and not tired any more (because I basically slept the whole day yesterday). It was my third time in Switzerland and it was fab. What I love most about Switzerland are the mountains, the nature, the trains and cute train stations, the endless hiking trails, no rubbish anywhere, the clean streets, the clean and renovated and extremely pretty houses, the flowers, everywhere, the fact that everyone has lunch at noon and that so many people love the nature, and that in a village or a small town you can have residential houses and stables and storehouses and dairy farms all next to each other and you can find a cow looking at you five metres away at the very centre of the village, or somebody's boots left on the stairs almost on the main street or a cat licking its paw on the pavement. It's simply an amazing country.
Prologue and epilogue
Driving driving driving. Singing along to Never Forget at 3 am. Driving driving driving. Getting to know different petrol stations. Driving driving driving. Playing Black Stories. Driving driving driving. Singing along to something else at 6 am and 5 pm and any other random hour. Driving driving driving. Playing The World Quiz game. Driving driving driving. Paying a visit to all kinds of toilets. Driving driving driving. Trying to pee in a pitch black forest in the middle of nowhere. Driving driving driving. Being happy. Being down. Being tired. Driving driving driving. Trying to stay awake. Driving driving driving. Trying to make the driver stay awake. Driving driving driving. Reaching the destination!
Endless Poland, heading to Wroclaw. The Poles have IKEAs and more than one. How unfair is that?!?
As if Poland alone wasn't enough, there's Poland with roadworks. 200 km all in all.
At some point we ended up on an almost totally deserted brand new road. Just us and the highway, way to go! Well, the road wasn't probably open to the public yet. Or something.
One can easily tell they are a family :p (Sorry guys, I couldn't resist the temptation to post these, but I can take the pictures down if you want to.)

Day One. Sunday.
We walked over the Swiss-German border and had a look at the lovely Konstanz. The border is marked by ART.
The offensive statue at the lake promenade.
Pretty houses
How old school :p

Day Two. Monday.
We took the train to St Gallen for some shopping. They do love their red pavement. And white hanging things. It's a bank district.
In case you forgot which country you were in.
Pretty pretty houses.
I made a friend at the bookstore, but unfortunately the owner of the abovementioned friend asked it do lie down again :(
We went to see HP: The Deathly Hallows Part Two at the cinema. Find a person at the cinema.
Find another person at the cinema.
Correction: there actually was a third person at the cinema. The one who took the pictures.

Day three. Tuesday.
We set off in the morning to have a hike in the mountains in Sattel-Hochstuckli.
Up the hill in a blue hanging thing.
More hanging things, namely a looong suspension bridge.
The bridge was pretty new, opened only this year.
Then we went up the hill on our own feet. It was so very exhausting :p
The views were worth it, though.
A roof :)
Hang-gliding
One of the houses we passed had a nice collection of garden gnomes.
Every respectable Swiss cow is wearing a cowbell. And you can hear a herd of cows from VERY far away
We were just having a relaxed lunch when a tractor came and started spraying shit. No kidding.
Paying for parking in a (mountain) Swiss style.
I wouldn't mind owning one of those houses.... What a view.
