Vol. 5

I must stop going to bookstores. But I got Bryan's photography book - Made in Canada. A happy dance. I already have the American Women one. His photos in the latest Stern issue were too amazing, too bad I can't get the real magazine. But there he also had the most gorgeous guys to take photos of ;) I knew there was a reason why I have liked Bryan for so long :D Everything is connected :D And Vi said she had never seen anybody get so excited about BA. And then the stuff about the Kelly Family (remember them?). Hilarious!

Not the best picture, but it definitely says Made in Estonia. We went to IKEA and the quilts and blankets they sell are made in Estonia. I had to come all the way to Canada to go to IKEA. The one in Helsinki would have been a BIT closer though. But who cares, the Swedes rule! And we had Swedish famous meatballs :p And I can actually speak English with a Swedish accent.

I was supposed to be in the library, but it had stopped raining and I thought I'd go for a walk and get some photocopies done. At the end of the day I didn't do those copies because I spent some long hours in the bookstore and in the used CD store and in Honest Ed's. Honest Ed's - I was totally flabbergasted. Here it goes! One of the weirdest stores ever.

I got a bit lost this morning, because there were some problems in the subway and I thought I'd walk a bit instead of waiting on the train... I thought that walking would be faster, you know! But at long last it took me about 4 hours to get to the library, I think, or a bit more. But that had actually nothing to do with being a bit lost, it was somewhat pre-planned, I went shopping. But I did reach the campus at last :) All this Englishness and fake medievalness, you just have to love it!

I officially love cities in the dark.

Just a couple of more pics. It's a BEAUTIFUL Sunday morning here, we have snow, again, and it was pretty messy downtown yesterday, but now at least some of the snow has melted and the spring might even come, hopefully...

Vol. 2

I thought I'd go for a short walk today. Well, it didn't turn out THAT short. I sort of ended up downtown and got completely lost there, but when I found a subway station I wasn't quite so lost any more :) Ok, I didn't find it all by myself, but the point is that I found it and then I managed to change trains and everything and end up exactly where I was supposed to. I like the subway, it's very fast and it has MAPS!
