Linna teises servas kestab küüslaugufestival. Jah, just, õigesti lugesid, ei no mida veel. Ma vihkan Meie Meest, see pole vist mingi üllatus.

Enamus pesakonnast ärkas täna hommikul kell viis selle peale, et keegi koppis nende ukse taga. L toppis ennast riidesse ja läks vaatama. Ukse taga oli võõras mees.

"Ega te ei tea, kus siin need elavad, kel on palju koeri?"
"Mõh? Seal üle tee, mine aga otse."

Siis sai kell natukene viis läbi. Keegi jälle koppis nende ukse taga. L otsustas seekord akna peal kõõlumise kasuks. Ukse taga seisis võõras mees. See sama võõras mees.

Puu otsas. Rebane. Selle õnge ei lähe isegi mina mitte.

Vaikselt hakkab tekkima tuttavlik filmitunne. Võib-olla.

Meie Mees ikka veel mängib...
A favicon (short for favorites icon), also known as a website icon, or shortcut icon, is an icon associated with a particular website or webpage. A web designer can create such an icon and install it into a website (or webpage) by several means, and most graphical web browsers will then make use of it. Browsers that provide favicon support typically display a page's favicon in the browser's URL bar and next to the page's name in a list of bookmarks. Browsers that support a tabbed document interface typically show a page's favicon next to the page's title.

Ruumi kokkuhoid missugune. Ja miks ma sellest räägin? Sest lisasin lemmikute hulka just Cinamoni kodulehe, mille ikoon on aga järjekindlalt valge mittemidagiütlev paberileht paari teise äravahetamiseni sarnase paberilehe kõrval, faviconita on veel näiteks sellised olulised kohad nagu raadio Uuno, bussireisid.ee, piletilevi ja Evu blogi :p

Reuters - Top ten moments of the Beijing Olympics

1) Usain Bolt breaks the 100 meters world record. Bolt already owned the record and in front of a packed Bird's Nest stadium he ran 9.69 seconds. He thumped his chest in triumph over the last few meters before his 'marksman' celebration which became one of the lasting images of the Games.

2) Michael Phelps roars in triumph and relief after American team mate Jason Lezak overtook France's Alain Bernard on the final leg of the 4x100 freestyle relay to keep alive Phelps's dream of beating Mark Spitz's record from 1972 of seven golds in a Games - a dream he was to realize.

3) Liu Xiang dejectedly walks away from the track as he realizes he has to withdraw from the defense of his 110 meters hurdles title because of a leg injury. Liu was the most popular sportsman in China and his grimacing departure clouded the Games for millions of home fans.

4) Russia's Yelena Isinbayeva turns the Bird's Nest into her private theatre with a gold medal and world record-breaking pole vault performance that captivated the 91,000 crowd. After she spent most of the competition lying under a towel, she broke her own world mark with a leap of 5.05 meters.

5) The Opening Ceremony. It emerged that some of the performance seen on television had been enhanced by computers, a child singer was replaced by a supposedly prettier face to mime to her voice and representatives of China's ethnic minorities were no such thing. But it was a jaw-dropping beginning to the Games, culminating in former gymnast Li Ning being swung up the roof of the stadium and 'running' around the top level before lighting the cauldron.

6) German weightlifter Matthias Steiner kisses a picture of his late wife Susann on the gold medal podium, choking back tears over the promise he made to her that he would keep their Olympic dream. The super-heavyweight made the pledge to Susann at her bedside in hospital as she lay dying after a car crash in 2007.

7) American Matt Emmons blows a 3.3-point lead on the very last shot of a 120-shot competition to throw away the gold medal in the "marathon" event of shooting. Four years ago in Athens he had fired at the wrong target and squandered a 3-point lead.

8) Usain Bolt breaks Michael Johnson's 200 meters record. Charging towards the finish line, Bolt has his eye on the clock all the way and once again celebrates his triumph in style -- this time, after he completed his run.

9) Rohullah Nikpai wins Afghanistan's first Olympic medal with a bronze in the men's 58-kg taekwondo. Proof that no matter how tough the conditions you have to train in, Olympic success is achievable if you have the talent.

10) Estonian Gerd Kanter celebrates his discus gold medal by sprinting down the 100 meter track at the Bird's Nest and mimicking Bolt's marksman routine. High school jinks in a week when fun was put back into track and field.

I must admit I like their taste, especially number ten :) Hehee - "High school jinks in a week when fun was put back into track and field."

Up until now I didn't understand what so many people saw in Jensen Ackles (and Jared Padalecki for that matter), but now I de-fi-ni-te-ly do. I just finished watching the very first episode of Supernatural and I'm afraid it's going to turn into an addiction, exactly my type of thing to be watching. Well, I suppose the addiction lasts until I get a serious OD, in case of Heroes this happened in the middle of the second season, who knows when it'll happen with Supernatural. It didn't help that the first episode was recorded from Citytv, I mean out of tens of networks, it happened to be Citytv. No kidding... Well I gotta get up at 6 a.m. tomorrow, this means I should go to sleep asap, which in turn means that I'll watch just one more episode :p

Evule

Vastuseks postitusele "Ja kino asub siinsamas üle tee..."

Pimeduse rüütli DVD ostan ma endale nagunii, kodukino kahjuks pakkuda pole. Eelmine Batmani film on mul DVD-l olemas (koos hunniku HL-i filmidega), võime soojenduseks neid vaadata.

WHY SO SERIOUS ?!?

WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII, ME SAIME MEDALIIIIII!!!!!!!!!

Ready? Steady. Go!

I'm back from my trip to Scotland and here's the photo diary. Before going to the airport I went to see The X-Files: I Want to Believe at the cinema. There was Mulder and there was Scully and there was even a bit of Skinner! Scully looked as beautiful as ever, Mulder had aged a bit, in a nice way, and they looked very fine together, but still, something was missing, something that was there all those years ago, something you just couldn't point your finger at, but you know it was supposed to be there, but it wasn't. All in all, for old times sake - Mulder is Mulder!

The flight to London was the worst I've ever experienced. Bumpy, looong and the sky was full of menacing thunder clouds. No matter what, the patchwork is absolutely adorable!

Leeds

Off we went from Gatwick towards Leeds and it was quite a long drive. So this is a bit of Leeds at night...

and in the morning.

Edinburgh

On the way to Edinburgh. The first sight of some mountains

and lots of heather

growing everywhere

Then there are some more mountains on the Scottish border

and a bagpiper making a lot of noise (that's what he said).

After some other long hours on the bus - Edinburgh at last! Some typical streets and taxis

and some typical houses.

There's the Parthenon-like memorial on Calton Hill

and a couple trying to have a private moment (it was 08.08.08).

A view from Calton Hill towards Arthur's seat.

Edinburgh castle viewed from Calton Hill,

Edinburgh Castle from inside,

Edinburgh Castle from inside towards outside,

Holyrood Palace viewed from Calton Hill

Connecting the castle and the palace there's Royal Mile

and Fringe Festival Madness on Royal Mile.

Before going to Military Tattoo, we got some almost sunny views of the city.

The tattoo took place at Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, which looked like a genuine Quidditch pitch from outside

but not so out of this world from inside.

As for the show itself, then it was fabulous! The Norwegian orchestra completely stole the show

which was partly projected on the ancient outer wall of the castle.

Since all other eating places were crowded after the tattoo we ended up at a deserted Burger King at midnight.

Inverness

The next day led us to Blair Athol Distillery (whisky)

and Blair Castle

which was absolutely beautiful inside. It was just rainy and wet outside...

Then we set off through the Highlands

to Highland Folk Museum with its old houses,

thistles,

the red phone booth (why on earth here?!?)

and some typical scenery - mountains plus sheep.

We reached the absolutely adorable Inverness in the evening. And by absolutely adorable I really mean absolutely adorable.

The shops were already closed... including Marks and Spencer

and Orange (not that I wanted to go there in the first place, it's just ORANGE, yes, I still mean it).
