The next day led us to Blair Athol Distillery (whisky)


and Blair Castle


which was absolutely beautiful inside. It was just rainy and wet outside...




Then we set off through the Highlands


to Highland Folk Museum with its old houses,


thistles,


the red phone booth (why on earth here?!?)


and some typical scenery - mountains plus sheep.


We reached the absolutely adorable Inverness in the evening. And by absolutely adorable I really mean absolutely adorable.










The shops were already closed... including Marks and Spencer


and Orange (not that I wanted to go there in the first place, it's just ORANGE, yes, I still mean it).
